Dean of the Faculty of Engineering UMY and President of Sun Moon University during the signing process of the MoU.

Faculty of Engineering UMY expanded its wings in internationalization field through the signing of Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) / cooperation with two universities in South Korea. On Wednesday (25/11), the Dean of Faculty of Engineering UMY, Jazaul Ikhsan Ph.D, along with Head of Foreign Affairs Office, Ir. Tony K. Hariadi, visited and signed a cooperation with Sun Moon University in Asan, South Korea. The signing of this MoU is a continuation of the expansion of international cooperation conducted by Faculty of Engineering UMY. The signing of the MoU / cooperation was conducted directly by the Dean of Faculty of Engineering UMY, Jazaul Ikhsan Ph.D and President of Sun Moon University, Sun Jo Hwang, along with Head of Islamic Studies Center Sun Moon University, Prof. Dr. Ismail Won Sam Lee is based in Sun Moon University, Asan New City, South Korea, and the two universities have agreed to cooperate in academics such as Student Mobility, Visiting Professor, Join Conference and Research Collaboration. As an initial form of this cooperation will be done through student mobility 2016 between Faculty of Engineering UMY with Sun Moon University.

In addition to Sun Moon University, Faculty of Engineering UMY also made a visit to Gachon University, in Seoul, South Korea, on Saturday (28/11). The visit also aims to open cooperation in terms of academic between the Faculty of Engineering UMY with Gachon University. Cooperation offered also related to Student Mobility, Join Conference, Research Collaboration, and Visiting Professor between the two universities. It is expected that the cooperation with two universities in South Korea will be a two-way cooperation that benefits the Faculty of Engineering UMY with the two universities in South Korea. The Dean of Faculty of Engineering UMY also hopes that the cooperation can run well and can be improved in other fields. (Anya)
